ISO 9001:2015

ISO 9001 is a standard that sets out the requirements for a quality management system. It helps businesses and organizations to be more efficient and improve customer satisfaction. ISO 9001 is based on the idea of continual improvement.

ISO 9001 is used successfully all over the world. In 2013 alone, over one million certificates to the standard were issued across 187 countries, and many other companies and organizations have used the standard without seeking certification.

Importance of health and safety

The Safe Side

K-TEL recognizes the significance and importance of health and safety in the work place and issues this general statement of policy which commits:

To provide adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities by creating a safe system of work.

To provide adequate training to ensure that employees are competent and efficient in doing their jobs.
To consult with employees on day-to-day health and safety issues, provide advice and supervision, to make sure employees are working in a safe manner as stipulated by the OSH act and present by this policy.

To prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health by adhering to the safe system of work created.
To provide and maintain safe plant and equipment, and also to establish emergency procedures in the event of an accident or emergency where immediate evacuation is needed.

To establish a Safety Committee to facilitate the creation of safety consciousness in the Company by communicating the intrinsic value of Health and Safety to our operation.

The overall and final responsibility for health and safety is that of the Chief Executive Officer whilst the day-to-day responsibility of ensuring that the policy is put into practice is that of the Company’s Safety Coordinator.
